LinkedIn for me serves an entirely different purpose than Facebook. LinkedIn is more for getting contacts, instead of traffic. You use it to showcase your expertise, expand your network and find people who may possibly work with you in your business.

Remember that Facebook, with its million of users is more for the masses, which means big potential for traffic. Linkedin on the other hand has a more limited membership, and mostly professionals looking to network with other professionals
