I have been involved in the internet affiliate marketing business for several years now. Please believe me when I say there are no quick ways to build lists or attract new affiliates. It takes time and perseverance. It can be very frustrating at times. I have spent hours and hours trying to promote different affiliate programs and attract new affiliates. The biggest disappointments are after working hard to attract new affiliates is to find that only about 5% of them are willing to work at the particular program. The other 95% just sit back and wait for you to do the work for them. If the particular program requires that they have to pay a fee then your recruiting efforts are mostly for naught.
The people that make big bucks in the affiliate marketing business are those that invest large amounts of money in advertising and pay per click marketing. All these hypes that we see everyday about joining super list building programs, video courses, fantastic affiliate programs and all the other tremendous offers is just to get our money. They expect people like us to invest in these programs and fail. After failing most of us move onto another program that looks unbelievable and fail again. That’s how THEY make their big bucks.
I am not saying that you cannot make money with affiliate marketing. There are some good programs out there that will work for the right people with the right skills and who are willing to invest the time and money. Recently I have gotten interested in the social networking aspect of the internet marketing. Namely Facebook. As you probably know, Facebook is quick, easy and fun place to meet and exchange information and ideas and you can actually make a few bucks.

Rapid Action Profts (RAP) uses paypal, so you don’t have to wait on CJ or Clickbank to send the checks. It’s more expensive, but it’s really good.

I would look for all the rotator programs I could find. Free banner ads that you can add to your site. Free classified ads. Usually they want you to add a small button of their site to your own.
